How dependable is google maps.......?

I want to drive from Philadelphia to Cleveland OH. Then I wanna drive from philly to N.Y.C. Is it safe for me to follow the directions on Google Maps?|||As long as you are on limited access highways, you will be fine. It scews up on neighborhood streets sometimes.
